The basic  booking procedure

1.Submit your booking via the website
2.Ashtons reservation team will receive your booking request and contact you to arrange secure payment.
3.Once the payment has been arranged, the vehicle is booked and an invoice containing all payment & rental details, issued.
4.Payment of the basic rental charge (excl. extras) will be made 15 days before pick up in order to secure your reservation
5.Once the payment of the basic rental is successful your booking will be finalized and a voucher confirming the booking will be sent to the Europcar pick up depot on your behalf.

On Pickup –  from depot
Your credit card will be charged on the day of pickup for:
1.Excess liability – within South Africa
2.Excess liability – outside South Africa (if applicable)
3.Rental deposit
4.Vehicle damage claim handling fee (if applicable)

On Dropoff -  to depot
Your credit card will be refunded for:
1.The difference between the sum of Contract fee + fuel charge + other optional extras (where applcable) and the rental deposit charged on pickup (see above)
2 Excess liability - if no damage to vehicle is reported
